Ancient Secrets: Quest for the Golden Key is a hidden object and puzzle adventure game that was first released in 2008. In the game, players assume the role of Kate who has been given a part of an amulet by his father who is archaeologist. The player’s goal is to look for the other pieces of the missing amulet in order to complete it. The pieces are spread throughout different locations around the world. There are different puzzles that players will encounter along the way and these puzzles will help the player get clues to the locations of the other amulet pieces. Players can learn more about the next steps by accessing the Task List at the bottom part of the window.

Aside from the puzzles, players will also encounter scenes where they must find hidden objects that are on a list at the bottom part of the main window. Inventory items can be picked up along the way. These items are useful in different locations in the game, but it is up to the player to figure out where to use each object. Ancient Secrets comes with different game modes and an interesting storyline. Players get to visit different locations around the globe in order to complete the amulet.
