iMacros is a browser-based macro recorder that enables users to record their Web surfing tasks and have it replayed or executed when necessary. This eliminates the need for repetitive and time-consuming tasks, such as testing websites, submitting to search engines, and checking multiple sites. With this application, users can cut their information gathering, form filling, and browsing time. All of these tasks can be recorded in a macro using this application, and executed by iMacros without having to go through each task again.

This application is useful when extracting information from websites on a regular basis, such as stock quotes, product descriptions, and price lists. This macro recorder submits data from a file to the target website. It then stores the result in a text file that the user can choose to read at a later time, or compile with other information text files. This application can also be used by programmers and web developers who need to test websites. It can be automatically set to conduct Web regression and verification testing on target sites.
