CopyToy is an application used for transferring contents from the iPod, iPad, or iPhone to the computer. It supports transferring of different kinds of files including photos, audio files, videos, images, podcasts, contacts, and ebooks. This program is an alternative to iTunes, as users are not able to transfer content from their devices to the computer with the said program. It has a simple and straightforward user interface that makes it easy to use for both novice and advanced computer users.

After installation, users just need to connect their device to the computer in order to start using the application. Users can start transferring files to and from the computer with the drag and drop method. The program’s main window has an interface that is similar to iTunes, which makes it easy to use for those who are already familiar with the program. All the types of files are located at the left side of the main window. The library is displayed on another panel. When a location is selected, all its contents will be displayed on the window including the filename, artist, album, duration, rating, and many others. Additionally, the program can also be used for managing programs that are installed in the computer.
