Smart Image Recovery 2.4

Smart Image Recovery is a recovery program that allows users to retrieve photos and images that were accidentally deleted from the computer. The program supports recovery of PNG, GIF, and JPG images. The program works by scanning the disk drive to look for photos and images that have recently been deleted from the computer. Once the user sees the deleted file on the list, the scan can be stopped even if it is not yet complete.

The application has a simple user interface that can be used even by those who are not computer savvy. Users can select the drive to scan from the drop down list and click on the “Find” button, which is located at the bottom part of the main window. The program then displays the number of PNG, GIF, and JPG files that are found. The total number of files found is also displayed on the computer. All the thumbnails of found files are displayed on the window as well. Users can choose to check all of the thumbnails on the list or only select some of them. After choosing the files to retrieve, users can click on the “Restore” button at the bottom of the window to get the files.
