The Sims 2 SP8 or The Sims 2 IKEA Home Stuff is a stuff pack for the Sims 2, a life simulation game. IKEA Home Stuff is the 8th stuff pack released for the Sims 2. The base game must be installed in the computer in order for the stuff pack to be used. The pack was first released in 2008, 4 years after the release of the base game. This stuff pack contains furniture from the popular Swedish furniture company, IKEA. The pack consists of beds, tables, picture frames, couches, dressers, and chairs. This stuff pack includes 76 new items that focus on furniture for the bedroom, living room, dining room, or study.

With the items included in the stuff pack, players have more choices when decorating rooms in their homes. These objects come in different colors to match the other furniture included in the base game. After installing the stuff pack, users can access the new IKEA items by going into the game’s buy mode. The objects can be found under their respective categories and users must purchase them with their available household funds in order to add them to the house. The items in the pack also have added features, such as new build mode tools and influences.
