DVDStyler

Alex Thüring (Open Source)

DVDStyler is an optical disc authoring application. It is used for burning DVDs and creating menus. The program supports a wide variety of audio and video file formats including MOV, AVI, OGG, MP3, MPEG-2, and others. It comes in a simple interface that can be used even by beginners. The menu bar contains menus for doing tasks (File, Edit, DVD, and Configuration). There is also a Help menu where users can view instructions on how to use the application.

Upon starting a new project, the application opens a window for the basic configuration options. Options include the video quality, video format, aspect ratio, audio format, etc. The menus and titles will be integrated into the video, except for video manager menus, which are always placed at the beginning of the project. Users can choose from a variety of backgrounds and buttons available for creating a menu. DVDStyler offers several tools for menu editing, such as graphic elements, text, and shadows. Users can manage the chapters by typing in the chapter points.
