Bluetooth Stack for Windows by TOSHIBA is a Bluetooth stack that implements the Bluetooth protocol stack. This makes it possible for Windows to communicate with Bluetooth devices (i.e. headsets, mobile phones, GPS device, etc) like they are connected through a serial connection. Toshiba’s Bluetooth Stack for Windows was initially launched in 2001 after integrating a Bluetooth antenna with Wi-Fi. This program supports a wide list of Bluetooth profiles such as HFP, SPP, FAX, DUN, FTP, OPP, HCRP, HDP, HSP, BIP, AVRCP, and A2DP. The program is Microsoft OEM Ready Program compliant.

Bluetooth Stack for Windows by TOSHIBA features IT-Admin function that enables system Administrator to limit functions of the Bluetooth for Standard Users. It also has Bluetooth speaker auto-reconnect function that can be used for Bluetooth speakers. Toshiba’s Bluetooth Stack also offers VoIP utility, which is compatible with Skype. It has Remote Camera tool to support Bluetooth Cameras with RemCAm-profile. The application also offers installation and setup scripting features as well as silent installation feature. It also has Share Mode where users can share settings and registered data. The program’s IT-Admin function can also be used for managing the Share Mode option. Toshiba’s Bluetooth Stack also features startup options, wherein users can choose to start the program automatically during startup or disable it during startup.
