Hotel Giant 2 is the sequel to the business simulation game, Hotel Giant, which is developed by Enlight Software and published by JoWood Productions. The main goal of the player is to successfully run a high-class hotel that caters to rich and powerful guests. Like its predecessor, this game presents the player with numerous objectives, which must be met in the campaign mode. The sandbox mode allows the player to play without any goals or time limit. At the beginning of the game, the player is given a choice to view a tutorial that shows the mechanics of the game, as well as the main controls on the menu.

As the manager of the hotel, the player must maximize profits by keeping the temperamental guests happy at all times. In the campaign mode, the player can be tasked to manage an existing hotel or build a new one from the ground up. Even though the exterior of the hotel is already pre-determined, the player can customize it by adjusting the size and style. The game also features a selection of furniture pieces and other hotel accessories to enhance the hotel’s interiors. To earn even more money, the player can add other amenities to the hotel such as restaurants, bars, arcades, saunas, and shops.
