MyPhoneExplorer is an application for managing Android and Sony Ericsson mobile phones. Mobile phones can be connected to the program via Bluetooth, infrared, or a USB cable. Upon connection to the computer, the program automatically detects the phone. The main window shows the temperature, voltage, and remaining life of the battery. There is also information about the phone including signal quality, model, firmware, CPU, and network provider. The right pane of the window shows the different sections that can be accessed with the program – Contacts, Calls, Organizer, Messages, Files, and Others.

When the phone is connected, users can synchronize the contents of the phone to the computer. This includes contacts in the address book, messages, calendar appointments, and memos. Contents can be synched with other programs in the computer, such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Google Mail, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook Express. In addition, the software can save a list of dialed and answered calls, as well as sent text messages.
