Digital Eclipse (Proprietary)

Namco Museum 50th Anniversary belongs to the compilation of Namco video games. The compilation contains arcade games released by Namco from the 1980s to the early 1990s. This particular collection commemorates the 50th anniversary of the company, which started as a toy company in 1955. It is the second compilation released for PC, Xbox, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo GameCube users.

There are 16 games in the compilation, including Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, released in 1980 and 1981 respectively. It also has Rally-X (released in 1980), Xevious (released in 1982), Rolling Thunder (released in 1986), and Sky Kid (released in 1985), among other arcade games. Pac-Mania is also included, however it requires a minimum score of 20,000 points in Ms. Pac-Man and 15,000 for Pac-Man before it may be unlocked. The same goes for Galaga ’88, which requires a minimum score of 40,000 points in Galaga before it may be played.

Namco Museum 50th Anniversary has an arcade game emulation feature and also has five popular songs from the Eighties, including “Talking in Your Sleep” by The Romantics, “She Drives Me Crazy” by Fine Young Cannibals, and “Working for the Weekend” by Loverboy. Users can select which song to play from the game’s menu.
