Rainlendar2 is a calendar application that displays important events on the desktop. Users can keep track of events by saving meetings, birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions using the program. Rainlendar2 keeps events and tasks in separate logs so that they can easily be managed. The program alarms the user in advance when an important date is coming up. Hitting the ‘snooze’ button will postpone the alarm to a later time.

Rainlendar2 makes use of RFC2445, the standard calendar format. Because of this, users can easily transfer contents to other calendar applications. The program is fully customizable, too. Themes and skins can be downloaded and applied to the main window of the calendar. There are downloadable scripts available on the program’s website to add to the application’s functionality.

Users can choose to display the calendar in different ways (month, week, year). There is no limit to the number of calendars that can be added to a single window. Calendar events that are saved online are also saved as offline versions, making them visible even if the user is not connected to the Internet.
