QQ Player is a multimedia player that supports playback of different types of file formats. Its main interface is just like a standard media player. Command buttons for the player are placed at the bottom of the screen. These include stop, pause, play, fast forward, and rewind. Users can control the volume by moving the slider. With the program, users can create a playlist for seamless playback of audio and video files. Playback of videos can be customized as well. This can be done by accessing the Screen Control menu where users can choose the aspect ratio for the video, change the screen size, rotation, and picture control.

Aside from playing files, QQ Player also has other functions:

• support for converting two-dimensional videos to three-dimensional videos
• allows users to compress videos in order to come up with a smaller size
• short videos can be merged to form one long vdeo
• support for extracting audio from video files
• allows users to split large videos into several shorter ones

QQ Player also supports hotkeys. Users can control the application by setting shortcut keys for the mouse and keyboard. This can be changed under the Player Settings window.
