Steel Legions

Steel Legions is a browser-based MMORPG or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game that takes place in an alternate universe. The Steampunk aesthetic figures heavily in the game, and is worked into the storyline by a past shaped by oil and steam as fuel for military units. The story revolves around the battles among four different empires that wish to take power via obtaining control over the world’s resources. The game may be begun from the user’s desktop via a downloadable client, with which the 3D visuals and PvP or Player-versus-Player action can be enjoyed in various screen sizes – including a full-screen option.

The main goals of the player are to succeed in mission-based PvP levels and customize the steel colossus he or she uses in the multiplayer game. Hunting for resources and gathering these for building and fortifying the player’s machine are continuous tasks integral to the gameplay and the player’s survival. The player can choose to join any of four factions: Phoenix Empire, Pandora Revels, Tundran Warriors, and Golden Territories. All of these factions have rich backstories and their own abilities. The game is appropriate for novice MMORPG players and seasoned veterans alike, as it features intuitive controls and a feature that tweaks difficulty depending on the user’s playing skill.
