FontPreview

FontPreview is a font manager specifically designed for Windows. It functions as a font storage that allows the preview of both installed and uninstalled fonts by folder. It supports both Open Type Fonts and True Type Fonts. Font formats such as TrueType Collection (.ttc), PS Open Type (.otf), and PostScript Type1 (adobe) may also be accessed through this software. It does not only read font in the hard drive, but it also caters to those located at the CDs and USB ports.

The interface of FontPreview shows a dialog box for Windows Character Map, File properties and Font Sample. Preview samples of the fonts can be seen together with its name. Adjustment is possible for better viewing. In addition, displayed text, background color, and color can be altered with just a touch of button.

The software is not only used for viewing fonts. It can also be used for organizing fonts. With the program, fonts can be grouped according to families or categories. Upon opening of the program, FontPreview renders all font families into a scrollable grid view. It has a simple graphical user interface that can be configured even without previous knowledge of the program. The software also features a Favorites List. Users can add folders to this list allowing users to access the folders immediately.
