RAN Online

RAN Online is a school-themed MMORPG developed by Min Communications, Incorporated. MMORPG is the acronym for Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. It was first released in July 2004 in Korea. It was brought to the Philippinesi January 2006 by IP Interactive.

The game is set in the very distant future, where three big campuses compete for dominance. There is also an eminent alien threat that threatens to destroy humanity. Thus, they also team up to stop the invasion and save the human race.

The game features seven classes. They are the Swordsman, Archer, Brawler, Shaman, Extreme, Gunner, and Assassin. Each player is armed with upgradable weapons and armors. Their powers can be enhanced using burrs or grindstones, potions or oils, and other items. The game also features an item shop. It is where players can buy various items such as costumes for weddings, theme birthday parties, school ball or any other occasions. There are also potions, hairstyles, nail art, and accessories sold at the shop. Players can also purchase a bicycle for faster transport. The looted items can be purchased to help them in hunting. Many of these items, which can heavily affect the course of a player’s game, are valuable due to the abilities they provide the player with.
