ISOpen is an application that allows users to create and extract ISO files. ISO is a type of disk image that is stored in uncompressed format and can be opened using any file archiver. Using this software, ISO images can be created from compact disks as well as DVDs. User can also change the files on existing images and burn their output onto CD and DVD media.

ISOpen has a user-friendly interface. Menu functions, such as File, Actions, Bootable CD, Convert, Audio, Option, and Information are found on the Menu bar. There are icons for New Project, Open Image, Create ISO, Extract, Burn on DVD and Burn, and Rip on the toolbar section. The main interface is divided into three main sections. The first section on the left side displays the source file on a treeview format as well as the properties section on the bottom part. The middle section shows the File Name, Size and Type of file on the selected source and rightmost section displays the files on the selected folder. To use the tool, the user will need to drag and drop the files to the main interface, edit the ISO filename, and proceed with the creation of the image. Extraction is done simply by using the Extract button on toolbar section. Additionally, this software has an audio converter, which supports various audio formats.
