FreeCall 4.07 Build 628

FreeCall (Freeware)

FreeCall is an application that allows users to make free calls from computer to mobile phones and vice versa. The software offers 300 minutes of free calls per week to some destinations, but charges minimal cost for some using credits. To start using this application, the user needs to register online and get a FreeCall Name and password. The account is marked per Internet Provider (IP) address and not just by the FreeCall Name that means that two users cannot share the same computer, as the charges will fall on the user to whom the IP address is registered.

The user interface is simple and intuitive. The central portion of the screen displays five tabs: Start, Contacts, Dialpad, History, and Actions. The user has various ways to call. One is by entering the User Name or the phone number of another user on the text box at the bottom of the screen and then pressing Enter to call. The user can also double-click on the User Name of the person from the Contacts tab. The dial tab can be used to enter the number the user wishes to call or use the computer keyboard. As for the paid calls, the user will need to buy credits online and choose among a number of payment methods including Visa and Mastercard. FreeCall also has other key features including the following:

• Mobile VoIp: This feature allows the user to install FreeCalls onto their mobile devices and use it anytime, anywhere. The applications can be installed on iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android, Nokia/Symbian, Windows Phone and Blackberry.
• Phone-to-Phone: This feature allows the users to accept their calls in their homes or on their mobile devices.
