Delta Force Xtreme

Delta Force Xtreme is a First Person Shooter (FPS) game developed by NovaLogic and released on April 2005. It is part of the Delta Force video game series as the seventh installment. First person shooter games are video games that focus on gun and projectile weapon-based combat from the shooter’s first person perspective. The game is played through the eyes of the main player. Delta Force Xtreme features three game campaigns—Chad, Peru, and Novaya Zemlya. It features 60 game levels. The player functions as the Delta Force Operator. This game also features single player missions. It follows the gameplay of older Delta Force games rather than the newer Black Hawk Down installment.

Delta Force Xtreme has an online multiplayer mode which enables users to participate in over 20 co-operative game missions. Some multiplayer levels include King of the Hill, Deathmatch, Team King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, and Team Deathmatch game modes. Deathmatch game mode requires the player to kill as many enemy characters until a certain time or number limit is reached. Team Deathmatch enables users to fight against an enemy team with enemy kills adding for points and team kills or friendly fire decreases the score. Online multiplayer co-operative game mode provides support for up to 32 online players. This is available through NovaWorld. Currently, there are 6 multiplayer games available in NovaWorld.
