AVS Slideshow Maker is an application for creating slideshows out of photos and images. It has a wizard interface that takes the users through the entire process of creating the slideshow. After choosing photos to be included in the slideshow, users can edit them by adding stamps, changing colors, and adding text. Other tools that can be applied are picture frames, themes and transitions. Background music can also be added. The program supports audio file formats, such as WAV, MP3, and WMA.
The slideshow can be uploaded online so friends and family members can view it. It can also be burned to a disc for playback on a DVD player. The application allows users to create a DVD menu so that navigation between slideshows is easier. Menu templates are built-in to the application. Users just need to add titles and comments.
