Recover Files 2.1

Recover Files is used for retrieving files that are deleted from the computer. It is able to recover files deleted from the Recycle Bin, the computer’s hard drive, and even from portable hard drives that are connected to the computer. The application works non-destructively so files retrieved remain intact after retrieval.

The program’s interface displays the list of locations where the files can be recovered. This can be seen on the left pane. The right part of the screen displays all the files that can be recovered after scanning, and the lower part of the window is where users can set the search filter when looking for specific files. Files can be located by file name, size, or by using the date when it was last modified. To recover the file, place a check mark on the box beside the file name, and click the ‘Undelete’ button located at the top portion of the window. The other features of the application are listed below:

• List of files can be filtered by file type, file extension, or file name
• Recovers files in their original form, including the original data (date created, date last modified, etc.)
• Supports different file systems (NTFS 5, FAT 16, NTFS, and FAT32)
