Dungeon Keeper 2 Editor is a tool which allows users to develop levels for the Dungeon Keeper 2 video game. Dungeon Keeper 2 is a sequel to the Dungeon Keeper computer game which was released in 1999. In this game, players take the role of the keeper of the dungeon, defending it from invaders and other keepers. It can be played on different modes including Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Skirmish and My Pet Dungeon.

Dungeon Keeper 2 Editor’s main menu is composed of different parts: Drop-down menus, Toolbar, Script Tree, Tabs, Object Selection Bar, Map Window, and Info bar. The Script Tree is displayed on the left side of the interface and shows the players, creature, object as well as triggers and actions which the user has created. There are three default characters in the game. These are the Keeper1, Good Player and Neutral Player. Keeper1 is the character which is played by the game’s players. The Object Selection Bar contains the functions which support the players in drawing the terrain and placing the objects. The terrain is the venue where the game characters roam around while objects refer to anything else which are put on the game. Examples of items are Hero Lair for the Good Player and Specials for the Neutral Player.
