Mezzmo 3.1

Conceiva Pty. Ltd. (Proprietary)

Mezzmo is a media server that allows users to stream media files such as movies, music, and photos, on devices such as personal computers, home theatre systems, tablets, phones, and other UPnP and DLNA-enabled devices. A media server is an appliance or a software which is used in storing and sharing media. UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play and allows different devices to work in a network. DLNA stands for Digital Living Network Alliance which is a non-profit organization that defines guidelines to allow multimedia devices to share digital media.

For Mezzmo to be able to provide streaming and sharing across multiple devices, it has been developed with the capability to transpose media files. This means that when a user tries to share a media file to another device, the software works to convert the file into a format which can be played on the receiving device. The software does this process automatically and does not require additional procedures or installations from the user. The software also arranges media files into a collection library, arranging them according to genre, series, episode, artwork, album, and more. The software performs a smart search for the artwork, and other metadata related to the media file from several sources which include IMDB and TVDB websites.
