Ulead DVD PictureShow

Ulead Systems, Inc. (Shareware)

Ulead DVD PictureShow is an application used in creating a DVD, VCD, or SVCD from one’s photo collection. The creation process is made up of three distinct sections which are organizing, specifying a theme, and burning. Output DVDs can be stored through disc mediums or saved in a portable device, an email, on the Internet, or any computer with a media player.

An image file must first be made to contain images to be used in a DVD. Photos which have been selected from the program Menu bar can be annotated, sorted, and rotated. An ExpressFit component function allows for editing of photo exposure levels like focus, saturation, and color cast. Other effects allow photo subjects’ skins to be beautified. Batch and automatic editing are not available. A number of themes are provided in which users can customize elements like photo duration, background music, and motion menu. Preset photo frames can be applied to images, and transition effects allow for smooth progression from one image to another. A DVD/ CD recorder section is where users can set disc label volume, specify burning process drive, and designate number of duplicates to be generated. The program also helps users in disc label designing for printable discs. Current output may be previewed prior to burning.
