AccessFIX 5.91

(Shareware)

AccessFIX is an application used in repairing broken and corrupted databases of MS Access. Database files which are unable to be opened even with table rebuilding can be restored by the program. MS Access elements such as records, tables, modules, queries, relations, indexes, forms, reports, and macros can also be recovered. If errors are displayed when the database is being opened, it normally means that the database is corrupted. The program then extracts the corrupted file’s information and a new file in good condition is created.

Any type of computer user can use the program. The program’s interface is simple with a layout that is wizard-like. Items import to the workspace is done through a drag and drop facility or via a file browser. Processing multiple items simultaneously is allowed. Recovery jobs normally take a short time to be completed. Results information includes total indexes, tables, and records. The Advanced Mode enables users to view database file contents. Settings can also be customized through the program’s Options screen. Such include startup recovery type (multi-file, advanced, and quick), enable checking of automatic updates, database permissions clearing, output naming process specification, and default suffix for output files. Other program features include an undelete function, multi-language and Unicode support, and structure replacement, among others. The program makes use of a small to moderate amount of system resources.
