AKVIS MakeUp 3.0

AKVIS Makeup is a photo editing application used for adding digital makeup to images. It is also used for removing imperfections on the skin, such as pimples, wrinkles, and scars. Photos can be retouched automatically by clicking on the ‘Run’ button. This retouches the images without making any other changes on the other parts of the photo. The program offers two types of correction modes – Express and Advanced.

• Express Mode – In express mode, the photo gets retouched by clicking one button. The retouching is done based on the default settings of the program.
• Advanced Mode – In advanced mode, the sliders can be used to edit the image more closely. There is an eyedropper tool and special effects for improving a portrait.

The program supports batch processing, which is used for retouching several images at the same time. AKVIS Makeup can be installed as a plug-in for other photo editing applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop Elements, and others. It can also be used as a standalone application.

Some of the built-in effects included in AKVIS Makeup are:

• Glamour Glow – adds a soft blur to the image to achieve a dream-like portrait
• Vignette – darkens or lightens the edges of an image to add focus to the subject
