Windows 7 Manager - Desktop Cleaner

Desktop Cleaner is a Windows 7 system utility that comes with the Windows 7 Manager suite. This utility is used for cleaning the files found in the Windows desktop. The utility can be accessed in two ways. The first one is by opening it from the Windows 7 Manager suite. The second way is by launching it from the Windows 7 Manager’s folder. If opened via the interface, it is found under the Cleaner category.

The utility’s interface is clear-cut. It lists down all the files and folders found in the desktop. Beside each file and folder are checkboxes used for selecting files. It then works by checking all the files and folders the user wants to be cleaned. All the checked files are moved to a specified folder/s. The Desktop Cleaner also includes a Task Scheduler. This function is used for setting up a schedule for cleaning the desktop. If this function is enabled, the program automatically moved the selected files to a time specified by the user.

Desktop Cleaner also offers configuration options for the cleaning range and desktop folder name. Users can change the unused shortcut captions for current and all users and the file/folder caption for current and all users. Aside from this, there is also an option to specify how many days the program checks for unused entries.
