Mahjong Escape: Ancient Japan

SpinTop Games (Shareware)

Mahjong Escape is a tile-matching video game developed by SpinTop Games. It was first released on November 22, 2006. It is part of the Mahjong Escape game series and focuses on the land of the rising sun – Japan. The goal here is the same as the typical Mahjong tile game, wherein the player is required to eliminate all tiles on the board by making matches of tiles. The tiles to be removed must be free, which means there must be no tiles on one of the sides of the tile and on top.

Two game modes are available in this game – Classic and Emperor’s Adventure. In the Classic game mode, the player can play on more than 150 layouts. During the Classic mode, the game displays all the available matches as well the tiles remaining. Players may also the hint, undo, and shuffle buttons to help the player complete the level. In the Emperor’s Adventure mode, the player’s adventure starts in 8,500 BC, more than 10,000 years ago. The player’s goal is to collect and obtain all of the lost Emperor’s treasures within 12 eras. Like the Classic mode, the game also displays the tiles remaining and available matches in the screen. The undo, shuffle, and hint buttons are still available.
