Corel, Inc. (Freeware)

Corel Snapfire is a simple image-editing software released on March 2007. This program enables users to make quick photo edits of digital images. It also offers photo organization and sharing functionality. Snapfire also offers several creative project templates. This program also supports Drag and Drop functionality when adding photos for editing.

Snapfire features a simple user interface showing a command panel on the left hand side. The workspace occupies the majority of the interface. The left hand panel shows tabs for Home, Enhance, Show, and Create. Home features sharing options like Share as Email, Print, and Order Photo. To add images to the program, users can click the Find Photos button that automatically recognizes image files and video files in the local folders. Users may also make minor adjustments on the Home tab like Rotate and Flip. The Organizer window allows users to edit the image’s general information including the file name, tags, and caption information. The Enhance tab enables users to add text art to the image. Users may customize the font style, font size, font type, alignment, and text color. Selected photos are placed on the Photo tray located at the bottom of the Snapfire interface. Both video and image files are placed on the Photo tray. When minimized, the Photo tray may be accessed by clicking the Show button at the bottom.
