Need for Speed: The Run

Need for Speed: The Run is a racing video game that was released in 2011. The game is the 18th title on the Need for Speed game franchise. In the game, players go through racing challenges in a racing spanning from San Francisco all the way to New York. In this franchise, there are more than 300 kilometers of track.

Players control Jack Rourke, a man who is fleeing from a crime organization. Jack must come up with a large sum of money in order to pay his debts. As a result, he enters ‘The Run’, a street racing event. At the start of the game, players have the option to choose from five different vehicles. Apart from street races, players can also perform quick time events, wherein the character travels and performs tasks on foot rather than using a vehicle.

One of the features of the game is Gas Stations. Visiting gas stations allow the player to change or customize the vehicle. As the player gains more experience points, more vehicles and races are unlocked.

Need for Speed: The Run can be played in multiplayer mode. 8 players can join a challenge online. Some of the online races include Mixed Competitions, Muscle Car Battles, Exotic Sprint, Supercar Challenge, and many more.
