FLAC to MP3 is a program used for converting FLAC files to MP3. FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec. It is a codec that makes use of lossless data compression. Some handy devices are not able to play FLAC files as MP3 is the more popular format. Converting of files can be done in just three steps. The software supports the drag and drop feature. Users can drag audio files from the desktop or from a folder and drag it straight to the application’s main window to be converted.
FLAC to MP3’s main interface consists of task buttons (Add, Add Folder, Settings, Remove, and Exit). The window also shows a File List where all the files ready for conversion can be seen. The right side of the main window is where users can tweak the output settings of the audio file. Some of the settings include the output format, bitrate in Kbps, Rate in Hz, the audio channel, and the output folder. To start the conversion process, click on the ‘Start Converting Now’ button, which can be seen at the bottom right part of the main window.
