Total Recorder (Professional Edition) is an all-in-one audio application developed by High Criteria, Inc. It is one of the available editions of Total Recorder. This application offers several audio functions such as converting, recording, processing and editing. It also supports different formats including stereo formats such as FLAC, PCM and WMA Lossless.

The program sound’s recording functionality enables digital (via Total Recorder driver) and analog recording (via soundcard). It can also record Internet-telephone conversations as well as background recording of an online audio stream. Other sound recording features include pre-recording, pause reduction, auto-stop recording, mixed recording and time shift. The application offers Auto File Creation, Tagging and Splitting as well. There are also different tools for processing and editing audio/video such as the basic copy/cut/paste, saving audio file as mono audio, normalize sound files and more.

Converting audio files to another format is possible as well. There are also Scheduler features such as scheduling recording/playback, background recording, performing post-processing and more. The program supports playlists and cue as well. Cue points can even be added, edited and deleted in an audio project. The program also offers batch processing as well. Other available functionalities and features include Add-on support, Favorites and Customizable Interface.

This edition does not offer video recording and automation features.
