Play League of Legends

League of Legends, often abbreviated as LoL, is an online multiplayer game that was released in 2009. In the game, players must choose a champion to control as the main character. There are over a hundred champions to choose from. Champions are then grouped into two even teams. The player must protect his team’s Nexus and destroy the opposing team’s Nexus in order to be declared the winner for the match.

While fighting in matches, the player gains points for leveling up. One of the goals is also to complete game objectives, which result in gold rewards. Gold is the in-game currency that can be used to purchase items from the store.  

League of Legends has several game modes: Tutorial, Co-Op vs. AI, Normal, Ranked, and Custom. In Custom mode, players can create their own game sessions where they can invite other players to join. Co-Op vs. AI is the game mode where the players are matched with each other based on their game ratings. Ranked mode is for players who already have a high level character. New users can play in Tutorial mode to learn the basics of the game.

The League of Legends game is included in competitive video game events, where thousands of dollars are given away as prizes.
