ArchiCrypt Shredder 3.5.1

ArchiCrypt Shredder is a utility that deletes files permanently from the system. The application has a file manager where users can drag and drop files to be deleted from the system. The file manager displays a tree view of the disk drive including the sub-folders. All the files are displayed at the lower portion of the window. Other information is also displayed, such as the complete name of the file, file size, type, date modified and its attributes. Drag files from the bottom part window to the list at the top portion of the window to remove them from the computer.

The program’s main window has eight tabs for accessing the different features. These are file manager, data media, folders, online-traces, plug-ins, secure zone, log, and settings. The program is capable of cleaning the free space available in the system. Additionally, contents of special folders (temporary files, recently used lists, etc) are deleted. This frees up even more disk space.

ArchiCrypt Shredder comes with a scheduler, too. This scheduler can be set to perform certain tasks at a date and time specified by the user. The program’s functions can be expanded with the use of plug-ins. Some of the plug-ins perform tasks, such as backing up data, saving settings, and many more.
