PDF Unlocker 3.1

SysTools Software (Shareware)

PDF Unlocker removes passwords and security measures on a PDF file so that it can be edited, copied, or printed out. It is a standalone program that works even without other applications, such as Adobe Acrobat, installed in the system. It also has a user friendly interface that allows all types of users to operate the application.

The program has a simple interface. The Start Page shows the quick links including a Help link and an Unlock PDF link. To unlock a PDF File, open the file with the program. A chart showing the permissions for the PDF document will be displayed. The actions include printing, filling of form fields, page extraction, content copying for accessibility, and content copying. Under the Permissions Before column, users can view the available actions before unlocking the file. These are represented with a check mark. All actions that cannot be done are marked with an ‘X’. Click the ‘Unlock PDF’ button at the bottom of the screen. PDF Unlocker will create another PDF document. All permissions will be checked when the new document has been created.

PDF Unlocker can be used to unlock several PDF documents at the same time using the batch mode feature.
