Blue Tongue Entertainment (Shareware)

Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis is a management simulation video game that was first released in 2003. It is based on the movie Jurassic Park. In the game, players must build a theme park by adding dinosaurs, amenities, and other attractions. The game features 25 species of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs can be created using DNA, which can be found in fossils and amber. The fossils can be found in the different dig sites spread throughout the game world. Adding attractions to the theme park increases its popularity and income. However, some of the attractions must be researched first before they become available for placing in the park. There are five different attractions – viewing vents, viewing platforms, viewing domes, balloon tours, and safari adventure rides.

Aside from providing attractions and concessionaires for the visitors, players must also make sure that the park is safe so that dinosaurs do not eat the visitors. There are different items that can increase the park’s security. Some of these are fences, surveillance cameras, and ranger stations. Players must also take care of the dinosaurs to make them happy. Feeding stations must be set up and plants and live stock must be available as food for the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs can also get sick and players must cure them.

At the beginning of the game, players go through nine tutorials to learn how to build the park and take care of the dinosaurs.
