Ashampoo Cover Studio 2 is a program for creating labels and booklets for CDs and DVDs. The program comes with several templates that make it easier to create labels. Users just need to provide the disc information on the template and print the labels. The application comes with an editor that consists of several tools and features. Users can add geometric shapes, text, and group objects on the labels. Each of the elements that are added to the template can be customized, too (color, transparency, gradient, rotation, positioning, etc). Ashampoo Cover Studio 2 supports standard labels, cases, and booklet formats for CDs, DVDs, and blu-ray discs.
The program is compatible with the LightScribe burners. This technology allows users to print labels directly to the disc with the use of a laser disc. The application also features a calibration system that aligns the labels before printing for perfect labels and covers.
