vGrabber is an application for downloading videos from different video hosting websites, such as YouTube, Vimeo, MetaCafe, etc. The program is simple and downloading videos can be done in three simple steps. Even novice computer users will be able to operate the application. The main interface of the application consists of all the buttons and settings for using the application. To download a video, enter the URL of the video on the field. Users can also choose to save the file as a video file or an audio file. Afterwards, click the ‘Start Download’ to start the download process. The program is a simple utility and there are no advanced options and settings for users to configure.

The vGrabber application makes use of an automatic video download accelerator. This eliminates the need for waiting for the video to buffer before starting the download. The downloaded videos can be converted to different formats, too. Videos and audio files can then be transferred to different portable devices, such as iPods, iPhones, PSPs, BlackBerry, and more.

The program is installed in a computer as a toolbar. It sits on the web browser’s window so users can easily click on the download button while surfing on video hosting websites.
