ScanSnap Organizer

Fujitsu ScanSnap Organizer is a program that enables users to view and manage the image files captured by their Fujitsu ScanSnap Image Scanner. ScanSnap is a series of image scanner models manufactured by Fujitsu. Fujitsu ScanSnap Organizer is included in the install disc of Fujitsu ScanSnap Image Scanner driver software. This program allows users to view their scanned images in either JPEG or Portable Document Format (PDF) file without the need to open them with an external program. Users are provided with viewing tools that allow them to zoom in and out of a scanned image file, flip through pages in a multipage files, an highlight specific portions of text in a file. This program also has tools that allow PDF pages to be rotated, deleted, moved, inserted, de-skewed, and cropped. In addition, users can set a password for PDF files to avoid them from being viewed and manipulated by unauthorized users. Files stored in Fujitsu ScanSnap Organizer can be exported via e-mail and then printed.

Fujitsu ScanSnap Organizer features a simple interface that is divided into three parts. The first part is the ribbon toolbar located on the top portion of the window. The toolbar contains commands that enable users execute tasks using the program. These commands include open a cabinet or folder, cut, copy, paste, delete, rename, distribute by keyword, etc. The next section is the Folder List Pane, which shows a directory of folders where users can locate the scanned image files they would want to view. The third part is the File List Pane where users can view the thumbnails of their PDF and JPEG scan files.
