Foxit Phantom PDF Advanced Editor is a program that enables users to edit their PDF files. A PDF or Portable Document Format file is a file format that contains text, font, and graphics and is independent of application software, hardware, and operating systems. This format is used to store text and graphic data in a way that is not readily prone to alteration and manipulation. Foxit Phantom PDF Advanced Editor provides features that enable users to open and view their PDF files as well as tools to edit the content of these files.

Foxit Phantom PDF Advanced Editor features a simple interface that has two parts. First part is the PDF display area where users can browse the content of their PDF files. This section provides tools that enable users to zoom in and out of PDF pages, including a page view pane where users can view the PDF file’s individual pages along with the document’s chapter outline. The second area is the Editing Toolbar located on the top portion of the PDF display area. This panel contains various editing tools used to select text, change font style, font size, horizontal scale, text position, character and word spacing, rotate text, shear, scale, fill color, stroke color, and clipping. Users can modify the PDF file’s text content by double clicking on a particular section of the document. Users can add new text, insert graphics like shapes and lines, change the page layout, and merge and split text.

Foxit Phantom PDF Advanced Editor also has various tools used to edit images in a PDF file. These includes the magic wand for selecting portions of an image, eyedropper, dodge and burn, spot healing brush, clone stamp, and crop. In addition, users can apply filters and effects such as dodge, vivify, soften, sharpen, binarize, and convex to PDF image content.
