K-Multimedia Player is a media player program developed by Pandora TV and was first released in October 2002. This program allows users to play audio and video of various formats and sources. K-Multimedia Player also supports various subtitle formats allowing users to watch subtitled movies without the need to convert their subtitle codes. This program also allows users to capture audio, video tracks, and screenshots that can be saved in the user’s hard drive. The program can set various audio and video effects, slow down or increase playback speed, mark specific parts of a video as favorites, and perform various A-B repeats. In addition, K-Multimedia Player has features that allow users to remap the keys of remote interface for HTPC including screen controls and automatically switch the media player’s skin depending on a media type playing. K-Multimedia Player provides a wide variety of skins, visualizations, and color schemes which the user can choose to customize the media player window.

K-Multimedia Player can recognize and play various video formats such as AVI, ASF, WMV, AVS, FLV, MKV, MOV, 3GP, MP4, MPG, MPEG, DAT, OGM, VOB, RM, RMVB, TS, TP, IFO, and NSV. This program can also play audio formats like MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA, CDA, FLAC, M4A, MID, MKA, MP2, MPA, MPC, APE, OFR, OGG, RA, WV, TTA, AC3, and DTS. K-Multimedia Player also supports subtitle files such as RT, SMI, SMIL, SUB, IDX, ASS, SSA, PSB, SRT, S2K, USF, SSF, TXT, and LRC. In addition, this program can recognize playlist file formats such as ZIP/RAR (Audio archive only), LNK, ASX, WAX, M3U, M3U8, PLS, KPL, LNK, CUE, WVX, and WMX.
