DVD Slideshow Builder Deluxe is an application for creating DVD slideshows using photos, videos, and music. Creating DVD slideshows can be cone in three easy steps, since the program has a built-in wizard that guides users on what to do. The program also supports dragging and dropping so users can easily add multimedia content to use when creating the slideshow. DVD Slideshow Builder comes with more than 400 movie themes and over a hundred 2D and 3D transitions for creating professional looking slideshows. Some of the themes included in the application are birthday, Christmas, holiday, travel, and documentary.

DVD Slideshow Builder Deluxe also comes with simple editing tools, such as crop and rotate. There are also video effects that can be added (wood, inverse, old photo, etc). Aside from adding transitions and effects, users can also insert titles, text, and voiceovers to narrate a story. Videos can be created in two aspect ratios (4:3 and 16:9).

DVD Slideshows can be shared by burning the finished project on a DVD or by uploading the project to YouTube, MySpace, Vimeo, and Facebook directly from the application. It also supports playback on several devices like the iPod, BlackBerry, iPad, iPhone, Xbox 360, and other portable devices and consoles.
