ImgBurn is a compact disc (CD) / digital versatile disc (DVD) authoring program that was initially released last March 2012. ImgBurn has a variety of modes that equates to different copying tasks. ‘Build Mode’ allows creation of image files from files existing on the user’s computer or directly writing of files to a disc. ‘Read Mode’ enables reading of discs to image files. ‘Write Mode’ permits writing of image files to a disc. ‘Verify Mode’ facilitates checking of discs, to see if they are a hundred percent readable.

ImgBurn recognizes a wide selection of image file formats, such as CCD, IMG, ISO, NRG, PDI, and more. This way, you can share files automatically between multiple drives. Also, if you are burning or copying several images, you can line up your selections through ImgBurn’s ‘Image Queue’ feature. This application also has a feature called ‘Automatic Write Speed’, which enables users to save your preferred burning speed. ImgBurn allows you to build high-definition DVD video discs and Blu-Ray video discs, too.

Aside from copying image files, ImgBurn can also burn audio compact discs. It supports a number of audio file formats as well, such as AAC, MP3, MP4, WAV, and WMA, to name a few.
