FastPictureViewer 2.0 (64-bit)

Axel Rietschin Software Developments (Shareware)

FastPictureViewer  is an image-viewing program developed by Axel Rietschin Software Developments in 2012. The application’s main function is to display a quick review of multiple digital images which includes detailed information about each image file. The application can be considered a competitor of the typical default Windows viewer.

Some of the more prominent features of FastPictureViewer (64-bit) are the large monitor and multi-monitor support with borderless full screen mode (accessed by the press of a key). It also includes shell integration with context menu options for drives and local folders. It applies the “hot folder” concept as well as plug-and-play integration with optional automatic browsing. The program allows multiple sub-folder browsing in one continuous sequence. The software also features a click-and-hold instantaneous 100% zoom for quick life-size viewing. The application is also capable of browsing thousands of images even if stored under multiple subfolders. It also supports an embedded metadata writer for JPEG files, as well as instant switching between 100% view to fit to window view with a click of a button. The program also allows users to quickly flip images from one to another either with a keyboard or a mouse button. It also creates Adobe XMP sidecar files used as back up for the metadata information of each image.
