EarthView 5.5.3

EarthView is an application that provides a satellite view of the world in real time. Application interface is easy to use and allows users to customize their view of the earth. Simple user controls are provided and a Help file provides information on how users can utilize and customize the application.  

Program controls enable users to have thorough access to the complete globe.  For instance choosing program controls enables a user to view city lights from places which are dark from night, or clouds may be removed or added from view.  Real views of the globe with night and daylight shadows are also provided. A slider feature enables earth view to shift to a distinct continent.  View update time may also be designated. Program images are of high quality and high resolution reaching up to 1600x1200. Other views provided by EarthView include atmospheric effects, map views, and urban areas, to name a few.  Three map views are provided which all present earth in various ways and two of which are artistic and photographic. Local time and location of greater than three thousand cities around the world are also provided. This application may be used as a screensaver, wallpaper, or desktop addition.
