AIMP, also known as Artem Izmaylov Media Player, is an audio player. It was first released in August 2006. AIMP has its own audio engine. It supports different types of audio formats, such as AAC, AC3, DTS, FAAC, FLAC, MIDI, MP1, MP2, MP3, OGG, WAV, and WMA, among many others.

AIMP has an Audio Converter feature, which allows users to convert any video file from your computer or from any CD into other formats. This program can also be used as an Audio Recorder, a feature which can record any sound from your PC. AIMP has built-in sound effects and equalizers, too. You can select among these options for different sound effects: bass, chorus, echo, pitch, reverb, and speed.

AIMP has an Audio Library feature, which may be helpful in organizing and searching your audio files according to various categories. This application also has an Advanced Tag Editor feature, which allows users to incorporate tags, such as the artist's name, album name, album cover, composer, copyright, genre, and lyrics, to the audio files’ information. Users can also make use of multiple playlists.

Other features of the AIMP include interchangeable skins, a multilingual interface, an online radio browser, and an option for automatic shutdown.
